Founder & Executive Director
Leah Bryant, Founder and Executive Director of L & E Middle Prep Academy, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Florida and brings over 25 years of experience in both public and private education. She has taught across grade levels—from early elementary to high school reading—and has extensive experience developing English Language Arts curriculum for grades K–8 in the United States and internationally.
Her mission is simple yet powerful: to create a school where every child feels seen, supported, and challenged to grow—academically, socially, and creatively.
A Legacy of Leadership and Love
L & E Middle Prep Academy was founded in honor of Leah’s late parents, Lee C. Bobo and Ernestine Bobo, whose lives embodied service, leadership, and grace.
Leah’s father, Lee C. Bobo, was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served his country with honor and retired as a Master Sergeant. Following his military service, he continued to serve his community as a beloved car salesman, city councilman, NAACP member, and active participant on several local boards dedicated to supporting the citizens of Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Her mother, Ernestine Bobo, was a successful entrepreneur and owner of a thriving interior design business, known for her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to bring beauty and warmth into every space she touched. She exemplified strength, grace, and compassion. As the matriarch of her family, she created a home where everyone felt welcome.
Her entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and unwavering belief in building something meaningful continue to inspire Leah’s vision for L & E Middle Prep Academy.
Their legacy lives on through the foundation of the school and its commitment to developing confident, capable, and compassionate students.

Leah is also the Creator and Executive Producer of The Indie Style with Leah DeVon Global Streaming Network, which highlights independent entrepreneurs and professionals from around the world. Her work has earned international recognition, including being a two-time Women in Media Award nominee at the WinTrade Global Awards in London, England.

Leah believes that education is not linear. She is committed to building a school that prepares students not just for the next grade level, but for life. She believes that the role of educators is to equip students with the academic tools and knowledge they need to become and achieve anything they set their minds to. She believes today’s students are the next generation of leaders, creators, and innovators—and is dedicated to equipping them with the confidence and opportunities to discover who they are and soar.
