Dr. Bill Scott is a dynamic and passionate educator with over 30 years of experience in public education, including two decades as an elementary and middle school principal. Known for his high energy and infectious enthusiasm, Dr. Scott brings a wealth of experience as a teacher, administrator, trainer, and instructional leader. His classroom experience spans kindergarten through fifth grade, and his leadership has empowered countless educators and students to thrive.
A specialist in Character Development and Positive Discipline, Dr. Scott has trained educators and school staff across the United States and internationally. He is the creator of the inspirational program “Do Your Best, Don’t Settle for Less,” which promotes positive self-esteem in at-risk youth. Dr. Scott is also a sought-after speaker for new teachers and administrators, known for blending uplifting motivation with real-world insights.
He holds degrees from Kent State University, Georgia State University, Jacksonville State University, and a doctorate in Leadership and Learning from Samford University. His expertise has earned him numerous awards and international recognition—including an invitation to speak in Reykjavik, Iceland, to educators, parents, and business leaders about American education.
Currently, Dr. Scott serves as Vice President of Leadership At Its Best, LLC, a student leadership program based in Columbus, Ohio, and continues to mentor college students. He was also the first principal under whom L&E founder Leah Bryant taught—an experience that left a lasting impact. Leah holds Dr. Scott in the highest regard and is honored to welcome him as a founding board member of L&E Middle Prep Academy.
