Angie (Bobo) Onianwa
Chair, L&E Middle Prep Academy
Angie Onianwa is a seasoned Business Consultant and Success Strategist with over 30 years of full-time entrepreneurship. As the eldest daughter of Lee and Ernestine Bobo, she continues her family’s legacy of excellence, service, and innovation through her business ventures and community leadership.
Angie is the President of Pink and Unique and is widely recognized for her creative brilliance in product development, branding, digital marketing, and strategic consulting. She has successfully launched and grown three thriving businesses and is especially passionate about mentoring women and helping them turn ideas into profitable ventures.
She is the creator of two online platforms: one supporting entrepreneurs through virtual training, and another helping product-based businesses expand and monetize their offerings. With over 34 years in direct sales, Angie brings consistent, proven results to every project she touches.
Angie holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Florida State University and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Bridgeway Center, Inc. She is also active in her sorority and supports initiatives for at-risk youth.
A proud resident of Shalimar, Florida, Angie is honored to serve as Chair of the Board at L&E Middle Prep Academy, where she brings her unmatched entrepreneurial insight, heartfelt mentorship, and commitment to building a strong educational foundation for future generations.

Dr. William Scott
Board Member, L&E Middle Prep Academy
Dr. Bill Scott is a dynamic and passionate educator with over 30 years of experience in public education, including two decades as an elementary and middle school principal. Known for his high energy and infectious enthusiasm, Dr. Scott brings a wealth of experience as a teacher, administrator, trainer, and instructional leader. His classroom experience spans kindergarten through fifth grade, and his leadership has empowered countless educators and students to thrive.
A specialist in Character Development and Positive Discipline, Dr. Scott has trained educators and school staff across the United States and internationally. He is the creator of the inspirational program “Do Your Best, Don’t Settle for Less,” which promotes positive self-esteem in at-risk youth. Dr. Scott is also a sought-after speaker for new teachers and administrators, known for blending uplifting motivation with real-world insights.
He holds degrees from Kent State University, Georgia State University, Jacksonville State University, and a doctorate in Leadership and Learning from Samford University. His expertise has earned him numerous awards and international recognition—including an invitation to speak in Reykjavik, Iceland to educators, parents, and business leaders about American education.
Currently, Dr. Scott serves as Vice President of Leadership At Its Best, LLC, a student leadership program based in Columbus, Ohio, and continues to mentor college students. He was also the first principal under whom L&E founder Leah Bryant taught—an experience that left a lasting impact. Leah holds Dr. Scott in the highest regard and is honored to welcome him as a founding board member of L&E Middle Prep Academy.

Donna Long
Academic Oversight Lead, Board Member – L&E Middle Prep Academy
Mrs. Donna Long is a dedicated and accomplished educator who believes every student has unique gifts and the ability to learn when provided with the right opportunities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Georgia, a Master’s in Elementary Education from Kennesaw State University, and a Specialist in Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.
With over 33 years in education, Donna has served as a classroom teacher, gifted education lead, assistant principal, and principal within Cobb County Schools. During her leadership at Shallowford Falls Elementary, the school was recertified as an AdvancED STEM School and achieved significant gains in reading and math. As a gifted lead teacher, Donna supported educators across the district with curriculum development and instructional strategies.
Her experience spans working with students of all abilities — from those requiring special education services to those in gifted programs — and she remains committed to creating inclusive, high-achieving academic environments.
Currently, Donna serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Cobb Juvenile Court and volunteers at local warming centers supporting unhoused individuals. Her lifelong commitment to service and educational excellence makes her an invaluable member of the L&E Middle Prep Academy Board.
She is proud to support the Academy’s mission and firmly believes that all students can Lead, Excel, and Create.

Dr. Shaphan Roberts – Law Professor, Pepperdine University
Board Member, L&E Middle Prep Academy
Dr. Shaphan Roberts brings exceptional expertise in strategic initiatives, dispute resolution, and community engagement to the L&E Middle Prep Academy Board of Directors. As a Law Professor at Pepperdine University and Senior Director for Strategic Initiatives and Global Expansion, he has earned national recognition for his leadership in conflict management, cross-cultural communication, and building stronger community relationships.
Previously, Dr. Roberts directed the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Dispute Resolution Program, where he developed and led the award-winning Community Police Unification (CPU) Program—an innovative initiative designed to foster trust between law enforcement and the community. He has advised municipalities across the country on reform, de-escalation, and public safety engagement, and has trained government agencies, nonprofits, and civic organizations in mediation and communication skills.
Today, Dr. Roberts continues to help city and state leaders design meaningful strategies that address hate and bullying, strengthen police-community relations, and elevate the role of clergy and civic stakeholders in public conversations. His dedication to equity and understanding aligns seamlessly with L&E Middle Prep Academy’s mission to provide an inclusive, supportive environment where every student can Lead, Excel, and Create.

Patrice-Bobo Miles
Board Member, L&E Middle Prep Academy
Patrice Bobo is a passionate and purpose-driven Life Coach who brings decades of real-world experience, deep empathy, and transformational insight to the board of L&E Middle Prep Academy. A proud Florida native raised in a military family, Patrice spent over 25 years as a trailblazing mortgage loan originator, guiding countless clients through the complexities of credit, homeownership, and financial growth.
Throughout her career, Patrice’s strength has always been her ability to merge practical solutions with personal empowerment. Her unique coaching style evolved from helping clients navigate financial goals to uncovering the emotional and psychological patterns behind money decisions. That calling led her to fully embrace her role as a Life Coach for women executives, specializing in mindset, personal growth, and transformation.
Patrice is known for her bold, uplifting energy and her mission to help women rewrite their stories and step into their full power—whether navigating career transitions, healing financial trauma, or redefining life as an empty nester. Major General David W. Abba
Board Member, L&E Middle Prep Academy
Major General (Ret.) David W. Abba brings over 27 years of distinguished military leadership to the board of L&E Middle Prep Academy. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with a degree in Human Factors Engineering, General Abba served in key command and strategic roles throughout his career, including as Commander of the 53rd Wing at Eglin AFB and Director of the F-35 Integration Office at the Pentagon. In his final assignment, he served as Director of Special Programs and the Department of Defense Special Access Program Central Office, where he oversaw highly sensitive operational and intelligence capabilities for warfighters worldwide.
A command pilot with more than 2,100 flight hours in a range of advanced aircraft, General Abba is a recipient of numerous awards, including the Defense Superior Service Medal and the Legion of Merit. He is a lifelong learner with multiple advanced degrees in national security and strategy, including from the Eisenhower School and MIT’s Seminar XXI program.
Now retired from active duty, General Abba leads his own consulting firm and is a devoted husband and father of five. His wife, Carla Abba, has been a dear family friend to the Bobo family for over 35 years—further strengthening the shared values and trust that guide our leadership. General Abba’s unwavering commitment to leadership, innovation, and educational excellence makes him a powerful supporter of L&E Middle Prep Academy’s mission to develop the next generation of thinkers, leaders, and change-makers.

Carla Abba is a former television news anchor and communications professional who built her career delivering trusted, impactful stories to her community. Known on-air as Carla Kneeland, she served as a respected anchor in Panama City, Florida, covering local news and human-interest stories with professionalism, accuracy, and warmth.
Since leaving the news desk, Carla has devoted her life to advocacy and service. For over 20 years, she has been a dedicated foster parent, providing a safe and loving home for children in need. She is also the proud mother of five children, and her commitment to nurturing, guiding, and advocating for young people is at the heart of all she does.
Carla’s connection to L&E Middle Prep Academy runs deep — she has been a close family friend since the age of nine and shared a lifelong bond with the school’s namesakes, Lee and Ernestine Bobo. As founder Leah Bryant’s best friend, Carla brings not only her professional expertise in public relations and community outreach but also a heartfelt dedication to honoring the Academy’s legacy.
Carla is married to Maj. Gen. (Ret.) David W. Abba, and together they actively support military families and community service initiatives. She is honored to serve on the Board of Directors for L&E Middle Prep Academy, working to ensure every student can Lead, Excel, and Create.

Britney Llantin
Board Member – L&E Middle Prep Academy
Britney Llantin is a dynamic community leader, creative strategist, and passionate advocate for children. As the oldest granddaughter of Lee and Ernestine Bobo, she proudly continues their legacy of leadership, service, and excellence.
Britney currently serves as the Children’s Ministry Director at Beachside Church in Fort Walton Beach, FL. She previously completed two terms as Vice President of the Montessori Learning Center School Board and is a current board member of the Pink Pearls of the Emerald Coast. Her work with school-aged children spans mentoring, leadership development, and coaching — including her role as 5th Grade Level Representative and Dance Team Coach at Liza Jackson Preparatory School.
With a keen eye for branding and community engagement, Britney brings strong marketing insight and communication skills to the board. Her natural talent for connecting people and ideas makes her a valuable contributor to outreach, enrollment, and family engagement efforts.
Britney is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and is especially passionate about supporting children with special needs and unique learning styles. She is married to Jemsy and is the proud mother of two young daughters.

Angie Slavny
Board Member – L&E Middle Prep Academy Angie Slavny brings over 20 years of combined classroom and student support experience to the L & E Middle Prep Academy Board of Directors. A proven leader in student-centered education, she has successfully guided learners to recognize and develop their unique strengths. As former Director of Operations for one of Georgia’s top private day schools, Angie oversaw programs that balanced academic excellence with personal growth.
Dedicated to inclusive, affordable education, Angie supports small class sizes, structured literacy, and ensuring students have the resources they need to thrive. An active community advocate, she volunteers with The Red Cross and works to combat homelessness through local outreach efforts. She believes that character and citizenship are vital to student success and is committed to ensuring L & E Middle Prep graduates are prepared to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the world.
